He was FMF and Air warfare. He was a highly decorated Sailor. I knew him personally, was stationed with him a few times. He was the best Corpsman I have known..he loved his Marines!

I went to high school with Andrew. He was the "class clown"...a great guy! My heart goes out to his wife and family for their loss. They will be in our prayers!!

Man i'm so sad to find this out. I knew andy personally, i was stationed with him on Camp Pendleton. He was a great guy, awesome leader and husband. The Marine Corps and Navy just lost a great corpsman. He's in a better place now. God bless him and his family.

I new HM2 Andrew King when I was stationed with him on the Kennedy in 1998. I was his LPO, needless to say I was heart broken when HMC Manahan told me about this tragedy. I watched him grow from a young HR, who was like many of us to a shining Second Class Petty Officer. The Hospital Corps lost a good man. Being a Doc is not easy, danger lurks at every corner. I remember when he got his Surface Warfare Pin. That was a proud day for all of us. Semper Fi Doc King. Rest in Peace Brother.
